I get it. No one likes suffering. Why would you want to read a story about about a wife who got sick 3 months into marriage, has had countless surgeries, pretty much died twice, and has wasted down to a terrifying 60-something pounds?

I don’t want to spoil the ending, but enduring the suffering hasn’t really been all that bad. In fact, suffering can actually produce hope. It’s all dependent on who you suffer with.

So, do you want to reconsider reading the book now that you know that it’s really a story about finding hope?
